What we ended up accepting as normal
We track a parcel across the world in real time. Yet when it comes to our own health, we are still often on our own. AZnDOC starts from that gap.
The problem is not complicated. It has become invisible.
The biggest problems are not always the most complex ones. They are often the ones we have ended up treating as normal.
A prescription left in a drawer. A test result nobody explained. An appointment prepared in the waiting room, at the last minute. Medication whose timing slips your mind. A question you meant to ask your doctor, and only think of once you are back outside.
And above all, that odd feeling of not quite knowing what to do between two appointments.
None of this is serious on its own. Put together, it points to something simple: our health is a continuous journey, and our digital tools only cover isolated moments.
An app that makes sense of things, not just a place to store them
AZnDOC’s aim is to support a person before, during and after their care journey.
In practice, that means four things.
Point you in the right direction. Find a suitable doctor or facility near you, based on objective public data (specialty, fee arrangements, accessibility, languages spoken) rather than an in-house ranking.
Bring things together. Gather in one personal health record what is scattered today: history, treatments, documents, imaging.
Prepare and follow up. Help you put into words what you want to tell your doctor before you walk in. Then, once you are out, find your treatment details, your dosage reminders and a simple daily check-in on how you feel.
Be there day to day. Light tracking of lifestyle habits and prevention content, without turning your phone into a medical dashboard.
On artificial intelligence. A conversational AI able to answer while citing its sources is part of the project’s vision. This feature is under development and is not available: nobody can use it today, including inside the prototype.
AZnDOC does not diagnose, does not assess how urgent a situation is, and does not replace seeing a doctor. A health tool that interpreted symptoms would fall under European medical device regulation and would require a long and expensive certification process. That process has not been started, and no feature of that kind will be released before it is.
A file archives. A companion accompanies.
Mon Espace Santé (France’s national digital health record) exists, it is free, and it has already been created for almost the entire French population: 97% now have a profile. But a profile is not use. By the end of 2025, 24 million accounts had been activated by their holder, and activation itself says nothing about how much they are actually used.
So this is not a question of adoption. It is a question of role.
Mon Espace Santé is a file: it stores your medical documents and passes them between healthcare professionals. That is useful, and it is exactly why it exists.
But a file does not help you find the right doctor near you. It does not prepare your next appointment. It does not remind you to take your treatment. It is not with you day to day.
That is where AZnDOC sits, not as a competitor to Mon Espace Santé, but as what is missing alongside it: active support, where the national record archives. By your side, from A to Z.
Two stages, and we are at the start of the first
Splitting the project in two is not only a budget decision. It is a regulatory one.
Development
We are actively working on the project. A complete prototype now shows every screen of the vision, and it is online. No feature in it is switched on for the public, and no data is entered, transmitted or stored.
Its purpose: present the project, collect feedback, and support the funding campaign.

Completion and launch
Finishing the final application, putting certified health-data hosting in place, and starting the regulatory certification process for the features that require it.
This stage requires very costly funding that the support campaign cannot reach on its own. But with your backing, we will have the strength and determination to see the project through and give you one of the best health apps there is.

What this project will not do
Some doors were closed on purpose. Naming them beats letting people assume they are open.
No doctor ratings or rankings. The terms covering public reviews forbid storing them for reprocessing. AZnDOC can display reviews; it cannot turn them into an in-house score.
No user-submitted reviews. Hosting reviews about healthcare professionals brings moderation duties and legal exposure this project cannot take on.
No medicine sales. That activity is restricted to licensed pharmacies.
Not open to under-18s. A health app accessible to minors needs safeguards the project cannot build at this stage.
No data collection at stage 1. This is deliberate: it is what guarantees the prototype exposes nobody to anything.
